Classes, classes, classes

Over the past several years, I have taken various classes along with workshops from well respected artists studying the different techniques in collage, watercolor, art journaling, drawing, embroidery, calligraphy, free-motion sewing.. just to mention a few.

From these, I have been able to take away many of the skills which I now frequently use in my artwork.

I also enjoy collecting many wonderful books for my library that help with instruction, technique, and inspiration.

One of the first artists I followed and gained much understanding in painting and collage techniques, as well as how to start an art business was Kelly Rae Roberts. Here are some of my first paintings, created with inspiration from Kelly's work and style.
